Redfield personally typed his mission record sometime in the late 80s using an IBM Selectric

This record illustrates the 15th Air Force clasification of Targets predicated on Importance and known Risk Factors! This is critcal Information that Airmen lived with - one mission at a time. Redfield is the only source I know of that documents what ammounted to an Airmen's score card.
This information was applied to all airmen regardless of Rank! Because of the flying substitute rule ie (flying as a replacement with other Air Crews) many airmen had different Combat Completion Records.
